What To Expect Next - Fall Season 2022

The Fall 2022 Season will be here before you know it! We are excited to have you join us and appreciate your support.

Communication is key to ensure the success of the league. Over the course of this season, we will be sending you emails with information you will need this season. Due to this being a mass email system, please check your filters to make sure that messages do not get lost in your junk mail folder.

Included are answers to some common questions you may have.

Fall registration opens May 9th, and closes August 15th. After the registration deadline, late registration is based upon availability and is not guaranteed. Once registration is full we will build a wait list and fill openings from the waitlist on a first come - first served basis. A $25.00 increase in registration will apply and you will be placed on any team that has openings in your grade division. If you are a late sign up your child's uniform will be shipped directly to your house. The late fee is due to increased expenditures the league has for each late sign up (placing separate uniform orders and shipping late uniforms directly to the player's home). 


GAME DAYS:

MA and NH LEAGUES BEGIN SEPTEMBER 10th. Games are on Saturdays. 

Approximate Game Times: Please note these are estimated start times and schedules may fluctuate depending on the number of teams we have in each division. 
15U 8:30-10:30am
12U 9:30am-12pm
10U 11:30am-2pm
8U 1-4pm
6U 3-5pm
Girls leagues 2pm on 


IMPORTANT DATES:

May 9th: Fall registration opens

August 15th: Fall registration closes- last day for guaranteed spot on a team. Late registration based upon availability.

September 10th: Meet & Greet day and first practice/scrimmage! Time and location posted by April 11th under SCHEDULES / STANDINGS on landing page.

September 17th: 1st Day of games. Check your schedule under SCHEDULES / STANDINGS.

October 29th: Last regular season game. 

November 5th:
Playoffs (top 6 teams in each division)

November 12th:
Championships 


ROSTERING:

As a recreational league, our priority is fair play, and we do the best we can make teams as equal as possible athletically and skill-wise. Completing rosters is a comprehensive process that requires a lot of time and effort from our staff. Prior to the season, please be patient as we work to get teams finalized and sent out to families. 

Our roster formation is an internal process accomplished with the use of NFL Flag's Matrix system which allows us to view a variety of registration details to optimally place players to teams. We prioritize players being placed with peers that attend the same school. This does not mean all kids from the same school will be on the same team, as it all depends on numbers and variety of schools in each division. 

Please note buddy and coach requests will not be allowed. Please do not email us with these requests as this is not a part of our rostering process

Coaching Reminder: 
Head coaches are allowed to select ONE assistant coach until rosters have been finalized by the league. Once rosters are complete and posted, head coaches can have as many assistant coaches they would like from their given roster of parents.

EQUIPMENT:


*Jerseys, Flag Belts, shorts and a mouth guard must be worn each week
. Your jersey and flags, plus any additional merchandise you ordered during your registration, will be shipped directly to your coaches. Your player must have a mouth guard to participate. Bring your own, or conveniently purchase at the Game Day Tent for $5.00.

*Shorts and/or sweatpants without pockets are to be worn during games. If a participants wears shorts/pants with pockets, the pockets need to be taped down to prohibit players' hands or fingers from getting caught in them when pulling flags. 

*Participants can wear any type of plastic molded cleats or sneakers.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY EQUIPMENT? Once we complete putting teams together, we will ship the rosters to our inventory department who will begin to pack and ship out individual equipment to each player. You should expect your NFL FLAG jersey, flag belts, and any other equipment you may have purchased no later than your scheduled Meet & Greet. You must bring a mouth guard to every practice and game. They will be available at the field for $5 each week.
