Once rosters have been finalized your child's coach will be in touch with practice information. For Spring season, coaches are allowed to practice but not required. Teams will have time to practice just prior to their games. We want our players to be able to enjoy multiple sports if they choose so without any repercussions by coaches or the league.

Practice Schedules: Fall Practice schedules will be determined by coaches (not the league). Once rosters have been finalized your child's coach will be in touch with practice information.  After that practice time will be allowed before the start of games. Teams will have about an hour to practice pre-game.

Spring We want our players to be able to enjoy multiple sports if they choose so, so this is why we limit practices during the Spring Season, coaches are allowed to practice, but will be required to find a location, SYFFL recommends that teams only practice 1 hour prior to their games.

Buddy and coach requests will not be allowed. As a recreational league, our priority is fair play, and we do the best we can make teams as equal as possible in terms of skills, experience and athletics ability. Completing rosters is a comprehensive process that requires a lot of time and effort from our staff. Prior to the season, please be patient as we work to get teams finalized and sent out to families.

Our roster formation process involves the use of NFL Flag's Matrix which allows us to view a variety of registration details. We prioritize kids being placed with peers that attend the same school. This does not mean all kids from the same school will be on the same team, as it all depends on numbers.

Uniforms:
Each registered player will receive a sublimated NFL reversible jersey, color matched shorts and a set of flags. Please make sure to double check the sizes ordered for your player as we order custom sizes based upon registration. Prior to the season starting, the league will ship a box to head coaches with their team's uniforms and a list of sizes for each player. Players will be required to wear mouth guards.

Playoffs and Championships.

How we determine seeding:

WE DO NOT USE POINTS FOR OR AGAINST

1.  Record
2.  Head to Head
3.  Strength of schedule
4.  Coin Flip

Districts - Team Rostering

Seacoast Youth Flag Football Team Rosters
Below are the districts that we base our team rosters.  If numbers are low in a districts division, we will do our best to keep players from a district together.  Districts will be combined if needed to balance teams.  States will be kept separate unless there is not enough teams in a division, then players will be given the option to play in another state district.

Massachusetts Districts
Triton District
Newburyport District
Amesbury District
Pentucket District

New Hampshire Districts
Durham
Exeter District
Epping District
Portsmouth District
Raymond District
Sanborn District
Timberlane District
Winnacunnet District

As a member of NFL Flag Football, we use a new system called the Matrix, which is a team building software used to optimally format teams using data within player registration. The system will help sort teams by player ability so that teams are as fair as possible. Out of the best interest of our players, and to make our league the most optimal experience possible for all participants, we have omitted buddy and coach requests to make it a true recreational league. We have the option for coaches to submit full rosters in our Pro League, which runs Saturday nights. More information on that league can be found here: https://www.nepffl.net/nepffl
Coaching Reminder: Head coaches are allowed to select ONE assistant coach until rosters have been finalized by the league. Once rosters are complete and posted, head coaches can have as many assistant coaches they would like from their given roster of parents.
