For example if a player turned 7 this year AFTER 1/1/21, they would be allowed to stay in the 6U division this Spring. If they turned 7 before this date, they must move up to the 8U division.

Playoffs and Championships.
All teams will make the playoffs on the 2nd to last week of the season.  Single elimination bracket will determine who will make it to the championships.

How we determine seeding:

1.  Record
2.  Head to Head
3.  Strength of schedule
4.  Coin Flip

Game Times
Spring & Fall Game Times

Older Divisions will play the earlier games with approximate starting times.
8:30 15U
9:30 12U
11:00 10U
1:30 8U
3:00 6U

The above times are starting times, depending on the number in an age group, games could start a couple hours after the initial start time.
Ex. 12u has 10 teams, some may start at 9:30, 10:30, 11:30 or 12:30.

These are approximate times and may be changed depending on field availability and number of teams. Games will be on Saturdays only. Practices will be limited to the first week of the season as we try not to interfere with other sports/activities kids are involved in. Practice days/times/locations are determined by coaches.

Districts - Team Rostering

Seacoast Youth Flag Football Team Rosters
Below are the districts that we base our team rosters.  If numbers are low in a districts division, we will do our best to keep players from a district together.  Districts will be combined if needed to balance teams.  States will be kept separate unless there is not enough teams in a division, then players will be given the option to play in another state district.

Massachusetts Districts
Triton District
Newburyport District
Amesbury District
Pentucket District

New Hampshire Districts
Exeter District
Epping District
Newmarket District
Portsmouth District
Raymond District
Sanborn District
Timberlane District
Winnacunnet District

As a member of NFL Flag Football, we use a new system called the Matrix, which is a team building software used to optimally format teams using data within player registration. The system will help sort teams by player ability so that teams are as fair as possible. Out of the best interest of our players, and to make our league the most optimal experience possible for all participants, we have omitted buddy and coach requests to make it a true recreational league. We have the option for coaches to submit full rosters in our Pro League, which runs Saturday nights. More information on that league can be found here:
