    SYFFL Fall Season Update

Our Fall season is still set to start on Sept 12th.  We are currently in the process of finalizing rosters etc.

    State Updates:

Massachusetts has not listed flag football as a sport that can be played in phase 3 step 1.  We are hoping like other states non contact flag football will be listed as a moderate risk sport like soccer, field hockey, baseball and softball.  As of now local board of health are classifying us as the same as tackle football.  Flag Football and Tackle Football are two completely different sports and need to be separated.  SYFFL and other local leagues have contacted our local state reps and are hoping to get an updated classification soon.

We are still planning on playing and will update the website on a weekly basis with any new information.

New Hampshire is allowing flag football to be played with certain guidelines which we are posted on our website.  We currently have a field in Brentwood and in the process of confirming a field in Stratham.  Only New Hampshire players are allowed to play in New Hampshire.

Flag Football Camp is being allowed and is set to start this coming Monday Aug 17-20th from 9am-12pm.  There is still room to register online.

Please be patient as things have been changing on a daily basis.  Our goal is to offer a safe and fun sport for all and plan to follow all state and local guidelines.
